James Castle, The Silent Way

As part of the Month of Awareness for persons with disabilities in Paris, France, the film James Castle, The Silent Way will screen at 3:00 PM, on the 4th floor of the André Malraux Library.

Immediately following the screening, filmmaker Brigitte Lemaine will lead a discussion with Jacqueline Crist, Managing Partner of the James Castle Collection & Archive. LSF Interpreters will be present for the discussion.
Concurrently, a display at the André Malraux Library highlighting American artist James Castle’s life and art as it relates to his deafness will open that evening.

The display is made possible by the James Castle Collection and Archive and will run from June 21- July 27, 2019.
